Hagar sat in the silence.
Oh so tired and worn from traveling the desert road.
And in the silence a startling voice called out to her, “Hagar, slave of Sarai.”
He knew her name.
God knew her name.
Jennifer shares her story of sitting in the silence. Her deepest fear was that if left alone, she would be deafened by the silence.
And so she sat in the silence.
And in the silence she heard a voice say, “I am real.”
And like Hagar, Jennifer’s eyes were opened to see the God who sees her.
My friends - sit in the silence – without fear, without anxiety, without discomfort and rest beneath the wings of the one who calls your name.
Who says, "I am real."
That is where the healing begins . . . in the silence.
