    Perfectly Faithful

    July 22, 2014

Do you ever think that God will turn His back on you? Have you felt abandoned or ignored?

Often, we transfer our anger and feelings of betrayal (about the person who wounded us) onto the God who hurts with us.

Rest assured, God has not left. He may be silent, and you may not feel His presence, but He is with you. Trust the truth of the Word, even when your emotions say something different.

Emotions can't be trusted; God can.

Remember, Satan wants you to give up. He doesn't want you to be victorious, because he knows how much you can do for God--and how much God can do in you--if your wounds are healed.

Not only that--He is FOR you, sister. He wants your heart's restoration more than you do. Do you believe that? (If you're like me, you may need to pray, 'Lord, I believe...help my unbelief!")

Whatever you've done, whatever you've been through, He is still the same: perfectly forgiving, perfectly faithful, perfectly compassionate.

Lean into that...let the truth soak into the driest parts of your soul...and be encouraged.

Thanks for being with us in this space. We're praying for you.
